Robotic Team Lead
I lead a team in our high school robotic club in an exhibition. My team was tasked with the most difficult project due to my skills, a robotic teaching piano that teaches it’s user how to play the piano. It doesn’t sound impressive but considering the other projects are line tracers, tractor belts, or robots that went into balls, it was the most difficult task at hand, at least it’s what we’ve been told. Because of the complexity and hardware limitations, we have to disassemble 3 robots to get 3 ATmega328 control boards and other parts. We used one of the board as the primary control and the other two were used as the I/O control. Our team finished the project with weeks to spare, so I decided we could do something else with the extra time. We get some extra parts from the instructors and started making things. We ended up making a vending machine as we figure we might get some money out of it, $2 to be exact. It was made using one ATmega328 as security control and another board for operation. The security system uses the mBot’s ultrasound sensor to detect unauthorized vault opening and a servo motor to lock the vault, and the buzzer and LEDs on the ATmega328 will be activated when there is a vault anomaly. The operation control uses 3 IR sensor that is placed to detect an object the size of a bill, we do not have any senor that can verify it is a bill instead of any paper so this is the best we can do. When the sensor detects the object, a DC motor will rotate and push one candy out of the machine. And it ended up becoming the most popular project among the instructors.

I was building an ecommerce website and came across Shopify, an ecommerce platform. I’ve created a store and somehow ended up becoming a Shopify Partner.
My first paid project, an ecommerce website for a friend. After building a website of my own, some of my friends want to have their website as well, and so there’s my first project of $180.
